While completing my MS in Real Estate Development at NYU, I was required to complete a variety of projects spanning from proposing new ground-up developments to analyzing mortgage-backed securities. Below is a small sampling of work that I have completed, both individually and in group project settings, for you to browse. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me! Similar to an undergraduate thesis, we were required to submit a final project to demonstrate our grasp of the skills learned throughout the program, in the form of a new development proposal.
I chose to propose a ground-up multifamily development poised to catalyze new growth in a slowly transforming downtown.

As part of my education on Capital Markets, I completed a series of assignments using Trepp and other resources to analyze a variety of Mortgage-Backed Securities available on the market, including in-depth research and reporting on the underlying assets supporting these bonds.
We were also tasked with evaluating REIT performance across various sectors.

In our class, Innovation & Entrepreneurship, students were given free range to propose and explore a business idea/investment thesis pertaining to real estate.
For the assignment, we were required to submit a completed business plan with SWOT Analysis and basic financials. Our findings were presented to our peers in class.
I took the opportunity to explore opportunities to further multifamily development in areas of California with relatively lower COL and easy transit access to jobs in the Bay Area - specifically the Western Central Valley.

For various classes throughout my time in the program, I was asked to identify and analyze the feasibility of various development opportunities at a given site. The following contain three samples of this work, ranging from a small multifamily value-add opportunity in The Bronx, to larger commercial development opportunities in Midtown Manhattan.

In our Planning & Design Class, we were tasked with identifying three developments in New York City that exemplify exceptional design. From there, we were expected to elaborate on the way that these projects benefitted from the design choices that make them stand out above the rest.
